Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. First edition. 216pp, with black and white plate illustrations. Red cloth-covered boards with blue relief and gilt lettering on spine. 8vo. cloth a little pushed at spine ends. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original dust wrapper, faded, a little toned and bumped at edges, a few mild marks and shelf wear visible on verso. In this very human and endearing collection of essays, Mottram shares with the reader his personal store of experience.
