Joy Clark born 1937 grew up in Beaconsfield with her parents Isabella and Cecil Clark. The Clark's ran an ironmonger's shop in the town and Enid Blyton was a regular customer. For many years whenever one of her books was published, Blyton would kindly sign and give a book to Joy, who was a small child at the time. Book is very good and bright. Light marking to cloth. Rare in the unrestored dust wrapper.
