Pages are bright and clear with light foxing and tanning to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Binding remains firm. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has light tanning with soft crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear. Clipped dust jacket with minor rubbing, chipping and tearing to edges. Moderate tanning and scuffing overall.

Binding is firm. Endpapers have strips of tanning caused by jacket. Errata slip tipped to front endpaper. Boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Rather mottled and dust-marked overall. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt is bright. Unclipped jacket has light edgewear with small tears, mild chips, and creasing. Large tear and small liquid marks to front. Rather rubbed and marked overall. Spine sunned. Very foxed to underside.
