Originally published in April 1969, this is a second impression from later the same month. The diaries kept by William Lashly, who served as Leading- and later Chief Stoker on Captain Scott's expeditions to the Antarctic in 1902-03 and 1910-12; slightly edited and with explanatory passages added by the editor. 160pp, 9 b&w illustrations and a map. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
