Octavo, pp. [1-6] [1] 2-327 [328: blank] [329-332: publisher ads] [333-334: blank]. Original plain Linson-covered stiff wrappers. A nearly fine copy, apparently unread. #314. $25. Historical novel set in the Scottish Border country in 1544, a somber tale featuring, among other things, a mad recluse who believes himself to be an archangel.
