Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. True first British printing with original unclipped jacket (18s). Jacket has minor patchy edge/shelf wear, a little fading to spine, a few small marks, little patchy browning, minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine and to corners, the odd small…crease/rub to edges, odd spot of foxing and a little patchy creasing/browning to front/back inner flaps. Boards are near fine (having been well protected by the jacket) with a hint of pushing to corners, the odd minor bump/rub to edges and minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Top edge of pages tanned with the odd very small mark/few light scratches. Pages are a little tanned. Odd feint marks/spots of foxing to page edges. Very occasional small mark/spot of foxing to pages. No other faults. A nice copy. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.

All thr…ee books are essentially Fine: uniform bindings in vivid navy blue boards lettered in gilt to the spine; sharp corners; tight and square bindings; publisher's dark blue topstains, showing a little fading; a little sporadic spotting to the endpapers and fore-edge of Men at Arms; a strip of offsetting to the endpapers of Officers & Gentlemen; a couple of corner creases and a solitary spot to Unconditional Surrender; else, excellent - crisp and clean throughout. Dustwrapper notes - Men at Arms (Very Good minus): clean and bright; some fading to the spine; just a touch of toning to the lower panel; lightly rubbed and worn to the extremities; small chip to the top of the lower spine fold; five short closed tears (up to 1cm). Officers and Gentlemen ((Very Good): clean and bright; unfaded navy blue colouring; mild toning and a hint of faint spotting to the lower panel; rubbed to the extremities; small chip to the heel of the spine; a little silvering to the foot of the flaps and to the titles on the spine. Unconditional Surrender (Very Good+): clean and bright; fading to the red at the spine; mild toning and a touch of spotting to the lower panel; a few wrinkles to the spine tips. The dustwrappers are presented in removable, protective covers. All orders are sent very carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and sturdy cardboard.
