Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. PRICE REDUCED!!!! Here you have THE First Edition of this wonderful book by P. G. Wodehouse. First published in the United States on August 18, 1939 by Doubleday, Doran, New York, and in the United Kingdom on August 25, 1939 by Herbert Jenkins, London, so for a fraction of the UK first listed here, you get THE true first. This one is quite rare and while the dust jacket has some chipping along the top edge (visible in pics), it is good to very good shape and it protected the book itself which is in very good shape. The dust jacket is not price clipped and FIRST EDITION is stated on the publisher's page. This is nice book with no names or writing, only a small bookseller sticker on the back end paper which could probably be removed but since it was from my small hometown I left it.
