Paperback. Condition: Very Good+. Reprint. 15 pages. A facsimile reprint hand set in Caslon type and printed on a 200 year old press by the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation. It was the first in a series of reprints published by the Colonial Williamsburg Printing office. Widely considered the first book on printing published in Virginia, Typographia commemorated the establishment of the first printing press in the colony, the press of William Parks, who published the poem in 1733. There is a small light brown stain on the front cover; otherwise, the pamphlet is in almost as-new condition. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Book.

Limited to 550 numbered copies, a facsimile of the 1730 edition printed in Williamsburg, Virginia by William Parks. Spine worn with pieces missing. Slipcase cracked along some of the hinges. The original edition is not in Bigmore and Wyman. Signed by Edward Stone. Taken in photographic facsimile, on fine paper, from the unique copy in the John Carter Brown Library. leather-backed marbled paper-covered boards.

Stone", on rag paper, quarter roan backed marbled boards, gilt spine titles, spine cap chipped, wanting the top panel of the matching marbled slipcase and slipcase worn on the edge, very good condition the text is fine (ho.pr).
