Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. True first British printing with original unclipped jacket (25s). Jacket has minor patchy edge/shelf wear, a couple of tiny (approx. 2mms) tears to edges, the odd small mark, patchy browning to reverse (white side) and to spine and a little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine and to corners. Boards are near fine with light crease to spine (book has been read), minor pushing/bumping to corners and a little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine (not major). Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Previous owner's bookplate inside front board. Pages bit tanned. Couple of old dates written in pen inside back board. Top of pages slightly dusty with a few feint marks. Occasional small mark/spot of foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Boards are very good (having been well protected by the jacket) with a little pushing/bumping to corners and minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Small scratch to bottom edge of a few pages. Odd small mark/spot of foxing to page edges. Pages bit tanned. Very occasional small mark to pages.
