Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. First format book that lists to "700 Mousetraps", also published in 1930, so this is a likely 1st edition. It does not have a jacket. Exterior looks very good until you get to the spine (see photo). It looks like a serious water stain that bled onto the rear board--unsightly at best. However, the interior shows no evidence of damage from that water. In fact, the interior is quite good--strong hinges, frontis +3 intact, page supple and lightly toned, and no marks or stains on the pages.

Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. This VG/G+ first format book is likely a first edition: book lists only to Hardy Boys "Cabin Island" (1929) and jacket lists only to Jerry Todd "Bob-tailed Elephant" (1929). Exterior of book is square, reasonably clean, with only very minor bumping at corners and head and heel of spine; there are three tiny points of fabric wear at the top of the front board. Interior is free of marks, stains and page damage; hinges are strong and lightly toned paper is quite flexible; frontis + 3 is intact. The jacket is complete and intact, though there is a water stain on the top 6" of the spine and bleeding red over to the rear panel (see photo). However, the book itself has no evidence of water damage, either on the interior--end pages and text are free of any such damage--and the exterior also shows no evidence of water damage. Perhaps the jacket and book were not original to each other?
