Rubbing and spotting to wraps; binding sound; curling to corners and toning to pages; Good to Very Good. Following the liberation of Krasnodar, the Sovi…ets found thousands of bodies of citizens that had been killed and tortured by the Nazi army, many "by means of carbon dioxide" according to this pamphlet. The Krasnodar Trial was a war crimes trial in which all 11 defendants were accused of collaborating with the Nazis. All were found guilty, and eight were hanged the next morning in front of cheering crowds. The remaining three were sent to twenty years of exile and penal servitude in the gulags. An uncommon record of a pre-Nuremburg allied war crimes trial.
