Condition: Very Good. First Edition. VG: in very good condition with rubbed dust jacket. Presentation plate to fep. 180mm x 120mm (7" x 5"). [50pp.]. 'In The Train' is the fourth title listed on the rear jacket flap from the 455 series - no other titles follow. Hardback: Illustrated board cover.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. W.C. Watson (illustrator). No Date. Hardback: full page colour illustrations by W.C. WATSON, dj is slightly rubbed on the edges and folds, tiny tear and some creasing on the lower back edge, a few small marks, price clipped, beige covers with green titles and illustration, open wing endpapers, very light foredge foxing, else vg. An early reprint? 1st publ 1955 - lists to itself on the back flap of the jacket (but this is the last in the series).

Hardback. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. Watson, W.C. (illustrator). 1965. Very good condition in a very good dustwrapper. Ladybird series 455. Buff pictorial boards. Colour illustrations. Spine bumped. Child's name in biro to front endpapers. Some light foxing else contents bright and clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn and lightly foxed, light biro mark to rear panel. Tally 130 to rear flap. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched!

Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: dw. Watson, W. C. (illustrator). 1st. Light brown pictorial paper-covered boards. Gilt lettering on covers. Gilt decoration on covers. Book undated, but the dustwrapper bears an original retail price of 2'6, and the rear flap lists "In the Train" as the only title in Series 455, so this would seem to be the first edition. Minor wear to edges of dustwrapper. Book itself near-fine.
