All dustwrappers are film protected. First edition. West African set mystery adventure novel. Original cloth with picture pasted on. Endpapers mottled brown, a little edge wear and marked on foot of foredge. Torn on pastedown at rear. Internally very clean and a very attractive book.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. This is a UK first edition hardcover published by Ward, Lock & co in 1914. The book is in Very Good condition with straight spine, sharp corners and firm but scuffed spine ends. The page edges are toned and there is foxing to the prelims. The book still has the tissue paper that protects the frontispiece opposite the title page, which confirms the publication in 1914.
