This G+ quality likely second format book, as per Mattson & Davis, was copyrighted in 1929 and was published by Grosset & Dunlap; it is 7-5/8" tall with 216 numbered pages of text followed by 4 unnumbered pages of ads. This book is square, rather clean, free of edge dings with all four corners very lightly bumped, with the top front corner worn to the board; the head and heel of the spine are bumped with slight color loss but no fraying; the bottom edges have a moderate amount of wear. The spine is lightly soiled but not faded; all the lettering and the oval image are intact. The front panel is also lightly soiled and has only a modest amount of wear. Except for an ink-stamped name on the front paste down and repeated twice (with "Beaver Den" stamped once below his name) on the FFEP, the interior is free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and paper damage of any type. Both hinges are strong and undamaged in any fashion. The text paper is mildly toned and very flexible. The book has no remainder mark and is not a former library book. It has a frontis on coated paper. The list at the front of the book lists to this title in this series whereas the list at the rear of the book lists to title #33.
