Binding and hinges are intact and firm. Contents are clean and unmarked. Some light rubbing to spine and board corners. A great copy overall.

In good pictorial orange paper covered boards with animal characters and helicopter to front and blue cloth spine. The boards are a little wobbly, not quite flat, a little grubby and edge-worn. The illustrated end papers feature a car race to front and adventure game to rear; the rear is slightly marked. The text block is firm, even and with grubby marks on many page edges. The 'This Book Belongs To" has been filled in; name of previous owner on Contents page. Fully illustrated in colour. Not paginated. Good plus condition. Without jacket.

This offering is an older copy of Toby Twirl Tales , No. 1, The Weeping Dragon, The Imp of Mischief written by Sheila Hodgetts and illustrated by E. Jeffrey. The book was published by Sampson Low, Marston & Co., Ltd. in, perhaps, 1953 and appears to be a First Edition though it is not specifically stated as such. This is NOT an ex-library copy though it does have the name of a previous owner written on the front paste down end page. The book is in good + condition and has no dust jacket. It's 5 5/8" by 7 7/16" and has about 80 pages with precious color illustrations and two stories told in verse. Thank you!

The contents show mild age and the puzzles have been tidily filled in. The pages remain well-bound and vibrant.
