Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. First Edition (SD). This is a book about toasts and tributes, of all kinds on all occasions. There are lots of them, 301 pages worth. You can see the covers in the photographs. They look pretty good. The gilt lettering and gilt and green design have held up quite well. It's nice and shiny on the front. The spine ends have just a little crinkling. There is one teeny tiny spot of rub-through on the front middle edge, otherwise the edges are in very nice shape, quite bright as well. The top page edge is gilt. It looks very good, very shiny. The middle and bottom page edges are deckled or rough-cut. They did a good job. The spine does have a forward lean but the book is solidly bound from cover to cover. I found only three instances of a very thin space at the juncture between two facing pages. All six pages were tightly bound from top to bottom. The covers are nicely, tightly bound, the junctures between them and their facing end papers are free of wear. The pages are exceptionally clean. Scrolling through, I haven't found any instances of soiling (not really soiling, but there is a teeny tiny black spot just off the edge of the 'Books by Mr. Gray's page). I haven't found any conspicuous creasing, no placeholder creases. There are no markings in the book. No attachments of any kind. And no one has written their name or anything else anywhere.
