Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 16mo. [1929]. Teel blue cloth boards. [6] 7-320 p.p. Red stain from lower to mid front board. Spine sunned, and slightly tilted. Light rubbing to boards, edges, with wear at corners. Foxing to top and fore-edge. Owner initial to head of front pastedown. Otherwise in very good condition. Scarce work from Australian writer and journalist Bernard Cronin [1884-1968]. Toad was originally published as a serial in the Melbourne Herald in 1924.
