Color pictorial dust wrapper with a minute touch of wear to the head and tail of spine and two short tears, one 1/4" long and one 1/2" long, to the top edge of the back panel for what is a beautiful copy of the wrapper. Full color pictorial endpapers. 29 pp. This is a fantasy tale about a young boy named Buzz who is guided on an adventure through "Behind-the-Clouds-Town" by a "strange little fellow" named Skoot. The story is illustrated with twelve full color drawings by Grant; nine full page and three half page. Vernon Grant was the creator of Snap, Crackle and Pop, the cartoon mascots of Kellogg's Rice Krispies breakfast cereal. Stylistically speaking, the drawings within Tinker Tim are similar to the drawings of the original cartoon mascots who had made their debut the previous year.
