"To Fletcher and Inga / in commemoration of services above and beyond the call of duty in bringing into the revolving universe the Ipsy-Wipsy Institute / John", followed by his drawing of what appears to be a tavern sign titled "IPSY UBER WIPSY" within a banner over the drawing of a heraldic shield containing the repeated word "Heliotrope" penned in a concentric circle.During the 1950's the Pratts were at the center of a lively literary community. They hosted meetings of science fiction writers who were members of the Hydra Club, and they purchased a 30 room home in Highlands New Jersey which they nicknamed the Ipsy-Wipsy Institute. There they entertained numerous writers including Ciardi, L. Sprague de Camp, Isaac Asimov, Frederik Pohl, Theodore Sturgeon, Bernard DeVoto and numerous others. Fletcher Pratt was an American author and Inga Pratt was an artist and book illustrator.
