Cloth. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Not Stated Appears to be First Edition. NON price-clipped DJ [$3.95], in new archival mylar, clean. Textblock pages mostly clean, unmarked, no serious weaknesses to binding. Pastel yellow cloth boards, some discoloration, tape marks from previous mylar cover attachment. Usual ex-libri markings, no external marks. The town of Sand, hard by Thunderbird Mesa, was pretty well under the thumb of Chilt Lane, who scoffed at the law and collected ranches as if they were cherries. And the townsmen were too old and tired to protest, until a young freighter whose line was threatened decided it was high time to buck the town boss. The author is a native Missourian who has combed the Western states for settings for his novels, which are historically accurate and authentic as to backgrounds. He served 4 years in the Navy during World War II, and was recalled twice thereafter for further duties. Usual ex-libri markings. Media Mail, Priority & most international shipping include free tracking information. Every book listed is located in my smoke free and climate controlled shop. All are inspected by me and will have qualities and/or flaws described. Ex-Library.
