Condition: Near Fine. Second Edition. Octavo, quarter bound in green cloth with grey boards and black lettering; [2], 64pp. Language textbook intended to help students navigate the challenges of learning Burmese structures and tones. The author is rather sympathetic to the challenges faced by new learners: "The Burmese people are very friendly and will soon put you right if you make mistakes. And their hearts will warm towards you when they find you trying to learn their language." Bit of toning and staining to covers, offsetting to endpapers, name inked on front pastedown, very good.
