Corners rubbed and rounded; light shelf wear to boards. Text block edges tanning and foxing, top edge dusty. Slightly cocked. Presentation plate on front free endpaper (dated 1937), tanning on free endpapers. Foxing throughout; worse at prelims. Internally neat, clean and tight. New edition.
