The top page edge is black. The book is 396 pages long. It is very solidly bound from cover to cover, absolutely no binding issues. The pages are in excellent condition. They are exceptionally clean. There are no conspicuous creases. No dogeared corners. No markings. No attachments. And no one has written their name or anything else anywhere in the book. You can see the dust jacket in the first three photos. I've had it in a fitted protective cover for as long as I've owned the book. There are a few small losses off the top edges of the front and spine. There's scuffing at the bottom edge of the spine and around the bottom corner of the front cover. The rear cover has some age toning and a small tear off its top edge. The top and bottom corners of the front flap are clipped. However, the price is present and unaffected.
