A new edition of this scarce title.In the original cloth binding.With an illustrated frontispiece.Offering "one thousand hints" on preparing and serving food, table placements, nourishment, preserving, and choosing, drinking and serving wine. In the original cloth binding. Externally, with darkening to the spine and handling marks to the cloth. Rubbing to the extremities, with loss to the spine head and tail. Rear hinge is tender. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with the occasional spot, heaviest to the first and last couple leaves. Contemporary ink inscription to the title page. Good. book.
