One of 200 copies of the standard edition, including colour tipped in portrait of Bewick at frontis, along 5 o…ther tipped-in items, including facsimile notes made by Bewick and a Bewick engraving, 'Waiting for Death', for his 'Fables of Aesop' (1818). Hardback book, size: 6" x 6.25", bound in quarter cloth and boards covered in marbled paper made by Antonio Velez Celemin. New. Recommended - a lovely book, now out of print.
