Hardcover. Condition: Fine. James Bostock (illustrator). 25x16cm, 70pp. With wood engravings by James Bostock printed in black and green. Printed letterpress on Van Gelder mouldmade paper, bound by Hunter and Foulis in quarter-green moire silk over green marbled paper-covered boards, t.e.g., paper title-label to backstrip. Elegant edition of Thomas's poems including the celebrated 'Adelstrop'. The Folio Press was a sub-imprint of the Folio Society, used between 1987 and 1991 for just twenty books very well-produced to 'fine press' standards, but now rather obscure and relatively sought-after. 'The series was initiated to celebrate the Society's 40th anniversary. The aim was to produce slim volumes to the highest standard, using mould-made paper and letterpress printing, bound (with gilt top edges) and, where appropriate, illustrated in the private press tradition.' (Folio 60). Fine, with no inscriptions.
