An introduction to real and complex functions, and to the theory of functions of a real variable, geared towards undergraduate-level students. Much of this work was previously inaccessible in English. Titchmarsh was a prolific author of mathematical books. This work is extremely difficult to find in the first edition. G.H. Hardy, a famous mathematician in his own right, assisted in the publishing of this book. A name on the front pastedown.
