Cloth. Condition: Good. A novelistic telling of the life of Jesus. Nd, but erased pencil inscription is dated 1909. Bound in plum cloth, with black decorative borders and gilt lettering to the front cover, same to the spine, and black decoration to the back. Spine has chipped at bottom and eroded at top edge, exposing gatherings. Spine sunned. Book block is unmarked and unworn.

Leather. Condition: Good - Cash. No Jacket. Dark red linen hardboards, gold lettering on spine. pressed borders. Some rubbing to ends and corners. Light bumping to edges. P/O name stamp on first pastedown, inscription on ffep dated Christmas 1911. There is no actual print date listed in the book. Text is clean and unmarked. Stock photos may not look exactly like the book.

There is a previous owner's name sticker - dated 1884 - after the front end page. This is a fair indication around when the book was published. The spine is partly cracked within. The back end page has been removed. The pages are tanned, but the text is still crisp and legible. Occasional age related marks can be noticed in the text. The blocks are gilded. Green cloth with gold gilt oval illustration of Adina on cover and lettering and angel illustration on spine. Book features 3 full-page etched illlustrations: View of Jerusalem, The Holy City & Suburbs (detached but intact in front), head of Jesus at Crucifixion surrounded by angels, and Crucifixion of Our Savior scene. Scuffing and minor damage to top and bottom of spine and corners, scattered foxing to some pages of text. Book is tight with most pages of text clean. LH5.
