Boards rubbed, especially along edges; corners bumped; ends of spine crushed; rear joint starting to crack at head and tail. Bookseller's stamp on front free endpaper. Previous owner's name at head of preface. Pages generally clean but soiled through use in a few places. Half of a page torn out in the book review section at rear of volume. Both hinges just starting to crack; otherwise binding firm.
