Some rub-marking and tanning to pastedowns and endpapers with inscriptions to front. Boards have moderate shelf wear, with rubbing and marking. Light bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends. Book has noticeable forward lean, with light sunning to spine.

Condition: Fair. 1926. Fourth Edition. 666 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth covered boards with gilt. Gilt applied to top edge of text block, remaining sides are rough cut. Pages are moderately tanned and occasionally foxed throughout. Previous owner's inscription to front paste-down. Cracking to hinges, no damage to end papers. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout, binding remains reasonably firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering has become dull. Sunning to spine. Cloth has minor damp and dust stains. Book has a slight forward lean.

Cloth. Condition: Good. No Jacket. First Edition. Internal hinges taped with yellowing tape. Owner's inscription on free front endpaper. Brown burlap, some rubbing to extremities, pages untrimmed. Loosely inserted a typescript from a Burns Club night.
