This copy is quite square with only minor edgewear, striking red decorated endpapers. Minor toning/browning near edges of pages. Crack between back of pre-title and frontispiece pages and between last page of text and back endpaper; otherwise interior is fine and unmarked. In general a good to very good copy of this collectible old-timer (which some ask ridiculous prices for).

Condition: Poor. No jacket. Wear to hardcover with nicks & bumps to the edges & corners. Tanned & marked textblock edge. Worn binding with cracked back hinge. Tanning, foxing & marks to pages, text remains good & clear to read.
