Books have former owner's inscription on how books where obtained, have owner's name, and map illustrated front endpapers have a price or initials blacked-out with a felt tip pen. The DJs have some wear and a small amount of chipping to their edges. The printed prices at the bottom of the front DJ flaps have also been crossed out with a felt tip pen. Books are illustrated with photographs and fold-out plans of ships, Overall, this is still an attractive set of two fascinating books on the windjammers or " tall ships" of a bygone era. 4to., 518 & 448 pages, respectively.
