Pacific Press in Oakland, which printed the book, reset the text completely from the 1884 edition due to the type being worn out. White took the opportunity to make improvements, expanding on some subjects which were previously treated too briefly and changing some phrasing to make the book more readable to non Adventists. Hardcover in green cloth decorated in gilt and black. Portrait frontis, plates, ads at rear. Boards bumped and with fore edge a bit gnawed-on. Small chip at page edge to ads at rear else clean internally and very good.
