Hardcover. Condition: Fair. No Jacket. ND. c.1885. Four of R Caldecott's Picture Books bound together, complete with card covers, in a single volume. Conditions vary from poor to good. All have some toning and minor foxing. 'Hey Diddle Diddle' has some taped repairs to final few pages. Others also have small tapped repairs. Otherwise all in general good order, with colour illustrations showing well. Bound in half leather with gilt titling to spine and green cloth, worn to edges and a little rubbed. Oblong 8vo. 4 x 24pp.

Beautifully illustrated with many Full-page Coloured Plates and Full page & In-Text Illustrations. Illustrated Endpapers & Vignette illus on title page. 88 p.pages. Ladscape format, 5 1/2" x4 3/4". No inscriptions. Bottom of spine bumped. Jacket has a long closed tear on front (repaired from inside with clear tape). Smaller tear on back with a piece missing from top edge. Original price 2/6 with 3/- label overlaid.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good Minus. Dust Jacket Condition: No DJ. Caldecott, R (illustrator). No date specified. Illustrated in colour and black and white. Boards darkened, spine's paper cover separated along rear edge, 1/4 inch tear on front along edge of spine, front stained in two places, lightly smudged on rear and on front free endpaper, cracked at page 48 but binding firm. Overall, very good minus.

Undated early hardcover edition circa 1900. This has been a well loved book! Part of outer spine missing, mark on rear board. Tear and piece missing from pictorial front endpaper. A little foxing throughout, but generally the inner book is very clean. A piece missing from corner of one page (see pictures) and a minor tear. All plates present and very clean.

Soft covers rubbed and edgeworn, front cover colourful, list of author's titles to rear cover, closed tear to foot of spine 3cms, corners and spine ends bumped, small chip to head and centre of spine, closed edges lightly browned and edgeworn, 23 pages clean, unmarked, full page colour illustrations, string binding loose but pp secure. Size: 8vo Landscape.
