Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Includes over 2,000 illustrations, mostly in black and white. The book has sound hinges and does not suffer from spine-lean. Previous owner's signature and date on the inside front cover, half-title page and reverse of last page. A tan spot and some toning (age tanning) to the first free endpage, the remaining pages are clean and undamaged. There is a 1/2" x 3/4" water spot at the top left corner of the book's spine. The rest of the book's exterior is very clean with light toning to edges. The upper left corner of the back cover is lightly bumped. The book's dust jacket is very worn with light soiling, numerous creases, chips and tears. Book and dust jacket will be bubble-wrapped and carefully packed in a sturdy box to ensure safe transit. This is a massive book that will require extra funds for shipment outside of the United States.

This new enclyopedia follows the same style and design of the first volume but is much larger more pages + over 3000 illusts. It supplements the first volume and enlarges its scope through the year 1930. It is arranged alphabetically and is fully cross-referenced. All the entries are brand new, as are the illustrations. Absolutely packed with info for the specialist collector. Condition: DJ wear on top of spine + corners. Remains of old sticker front right under Volume Two. Small tear back top edge near corner. Small tear bottom edge near spine. Original Hale price sticker bottom back top left. Laminate of DJ slightly crinkled on nose of one of doll illusts on back. Boards lovely colour and condition. Internally clean, little wear, tight binding, v good colour.

Autumn and Winter" with captions in English & French. The brochure shows: Ladies Dolmans and Mantles; Ladies Sleeves; Carrick Capes and Cloak Hoods; Ladies' Ulsters, waterproof cloaks and paletots; Ladies' jackets and sacques; misses' & girls dresses; dresses for small children; suits for small boys; children's cloaks; capuchons, bonnets, etc - hoods, caps, etc.; misses & girls basques; misses' & girls waists; ladies trains and skirts; and ladies' overskirts. The brochure mentions, but unfortunately does not include "New and beautiful patterns for dolls (prices at 10 cents). The Encyclopedia has Black lettering on white cloth covered boards in a green pictorial dust jacket. Heavy 4to, 697pp. The top & bottom edges of the dust jacket is stained, and it is edge chipped at spots. Signed by Author(s).
