No date but probably mid 1940s, corner unclipped, wear to edges and corners of dustjacket, edges creased and worn, some small rips and nicks, sellotape on edges of underside to reinforce, now dried up and no longer holding but left a stain, spine and covers faded, some wear to covers and spine, mainly edges and corners, corners a little bumped, top and bottom of spine bumped, edges of covers a little grubby / discoloured with age, internally in good condition, pages crisp and clear but slightly yellowing, some light foxing on edges, inscription to a previous owner on front end paper.

Price clipped green d/w has wear to the edges, with small tears, fading to yellow and marks on the rear as though clawed by a cat. Yellow boards have dirty edges and a turned spine. Internally slightly aged but clean, firm and vg with no insc. 169 pps.

Cloth. Condition: Good. No Jacket. First Edition. no date (c1950), 128pp, yellow cloth soiled black titles to spine spine and front boards. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Book.

No date but this edition was the first one published with the green dustjacket by the publisher. Some foxing to yellow boards and also to endpapers and edges otherwise internally in good condition. Dustjacket is faded and with some tears but not price-clipped ( 6/- ) Beautifully illustrated black and white charcoal drawings including frontis. A lovely story about a cat called Ham" The Chestnut Library" series. 126 pages.
