Page edges and endpapers slightly tanned, front hinge cracked, contents page creased. Contents otherwise in very good bright condition with no inscriptions. Red cloth faded at spine and with small mark to back cover. Very heavy book which will incur extra postage outside UK.

Illustrations to end papers. 620 pp., blue top edged, extensively illustrated with black and white drawings. The book is in very good condition with just very minor shelf-wear to the extremities of the cover. The hinges are intact but the binding is a bit slack. There is some light marking of the bottom edge, otherwise the pages are clean and unmarked. The dust jacket is fair with quite heavy shelf-wear to the extremities including a number of chips, creases and tears. There is damage to .8" of the head of the spine and .5" to the tail. The spine is also lightly tanned.
