Add to basketPaperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book, the acclaimed work of the author, is a classic novel that explores the harrowing journey of Oliver Twist, an orphan who faces a harsh life of poverty and mistreatment. Set against the backdrop of 19th-century industrial England, the novel delves into the social injustice and cruelty prevalent during that era. The author masterfully portrays the plight of orphans and the poor through the lens of Oliver's experiences. The novel exposes the harsh realities of workhouses and the exploitation of children in the name of the law. It also sheds light on the hypocrisies of a society that claims to value compassion but often fails to extend it to those in need. Furthermore, the book explores the themes of good versus evil, innocence versus corruption, and the transformative power of human kindness. Through Oliver's interactions with a diverse cast of characters, both benevolent and villainous, the author examines the complexities of human nature and the enduring power of hope. This seminal work remains a poignant and timeless masterpiece that resonates with readers of all ages, offering a profound exploration of social issues and the indomitable spirit of survival. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.
