Condition: Good. 1949. Second Edition. 221 pages. No dust jacket. Black cloth. Contains black and white illustrations. Well bound and clean pages, with mild tanning to text block edges. Some rub-marking and tanning to pastedowns and endpapers with inscriptions to front. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Binding remains firm.

Condition: Good. 1949. Second Edition. 221 pages. No dust jacket. Black cloth. Contains black and white diagrams throughout. Pages are lightly tanned, but text remains clear. Binding is firm. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Boards have light shelf-wear, with minor corner bumping and slight denting to edges. Minimal wear to tail spine end, but visible splitting to head end. Light rubbing and scuffing overall.
