Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 2nd Edition. Folding sheet 90 x 60cm, folding down into illustrated title panels 12 x 20cm. Texts in Englsih and Farsi. The recto contains the Complete Map of Tehran and Environs, approx 3cm to 1km. The area is bounded by Suleqan (NW), Galanduk (NE), Bagh-e-Zendan (SE), and Malakabad / Nasirabad (SW). Features include paved and secondary roads, paths, railways, dry rivers and rivers, airport, cemeteries, factories, mosques etc, with a key to the left hand edge. A large area to the east is marked as the "Royal Hunting Area", The verso has the "Complete Map of Tehran Central" with descriptive text (topography, history, industries, places of interest, govt buildings), a key, and 14 b/w photos of hotels. Undated - the Central map is indicated Second Edition. The drawings and graphic design to the title panels look 1960s in style. This would be consistent with 3 other maps by this cartographer / publisher on Worldcat, which are dated 1966-67. Very good with short fold tears, and price 100RLS stamped to the English title panel.
