Sherwood; Sidney Howard) and performed at Henry Miller's Theatre, NY. Starring Ina Claire, Philip Merivale and Ernst Deutsch. Dr. Talley is an eminent surgeon and has a wonderful bedside manner. However he is not much of a family man. His first wife has died and he is engaged to marry Enid Fuller an ex-patient. Enid is worried about meeting the Doctor's children and how they will react to her. Short run of 56 performances. "good, staples a little rusty and a little bleed from them".

Clark was a board member of the Theatre Guild (which produced a number of S. N. Behrman's plays), and was the executive director of the Dramatists Play Service and Samuel French. Clark's firm published the acting editions of *End of Summer* and *Amphitryon 38* and other of Behrman's plays.
