In the foreword, Lila Talarico and Steven Heller, Co-Chairs of the School of Visual Arts, describe these tableau as using props to create a narrative and a way of injecting art and aesthetics into our daily lives. They describe this book as a collection of "short stories" visualized through the use of said props. There are 36 tableau depicted in this book. Each is photographed in brilliant color and on the facing page there is a close -up of one of the objects in the tableau. Brief note at the end of the book explain each tableau. Measures 12" x 12" with approx. 70 pages (unpaginated). Inscribed by the author with a personal message to the prior owner. Although no date is evident, it probably dates from around 2008.
