Stated fifth edition, 27th thousand. This copy has its original covers but the spine is gone and the textblock is just laid-in. Chart itself is printed on high quality linen reinforced paper and is mostly in nice shape, though there is a closed tear to the bottom of one of the pages measuring ~ 5 cm. The index pages are printed on a thinner paper and have a few closed tears. This is not a fold-out chart, rather it is the chart bound into book form with both sides of pages illustrated. A biblical timeline of world history beginning in 4004 BC with Adam and Eve and covering up to 1878 with portraits of current heads of state in various countries around the world. Integrates gealogies of the King James bible with various historical events and references. It references the Battle of Tours, Homer, ancient Egypt and more. Illustrated by John Alsop Paine.
