, xiv, 349 pages, illustrated with 2 maps along with a few smaller illustrations throughout the text, also with 8 double sided plates (that contain a total of 34 photographs), all illustrations are black and white First Edition , head and tail of spine bumped and slightly worn, rear board with stains where dustwrapper was stuck down, inscription by previous owner on front free endpaper, internally pages and illustrations nice and clean but with minor tanning to edges, overall in good condition , dustwrapper with fading to spine, some marks to covers, minor creasing to edges, rear fold is stuck to rear pastedown of book, large tear at rear fold over, fair condition , red cloth spine, yellow reinforced paper boards, titles to title label on spine , octavo, 23 x 15 cms Hardback ISBN:
