The second book in this classic trilogy ,presented in its earliest book form for the U.S edition - in fact its earliest release as it came out before the u.k edition. The proof is in fine condition with a small crease top of spine - the contents are fine- no ownership inscriptions. This copy has been flat signed [ name only] by the author in his usual blue pen. This copy comes with 2 very rare items- the first is a promo letter from Pullman ,thanking readers for reading the first book and explaining the theme of this second book- it has a facsimile of his signature at the bottom and is in v.g condition with a central crease where it was folded to go into the proof copy. It also comes with a Business Reply Mail post card ,where readers can send their comments about a book - this is for potential usage of them on the book. This is a rare package set together.p.
