Hardcover. Condition: Very good. Dust Jacket Condition: Poor. xii, 142 p. + plates. 20 plates within text, some full-page. 17 tables, 3 of which fold out. 17 plates and two more fold-outs at rear. Blue cloth in dustjacket. Jacket has numerous tears including large one in front cover affecting illustration. Spine of jacket faded and rear panel rubbed. Ink correction on first page of preface. Book itself has bumped corners, a little discolouration and wrinkling, and creases to pages at front and rear. Topics include: the geological setting of the rocks of Chaukhutia area; petrography of the rocks; origin of migmatites, metamorphism of rocks of the area; structures and tectonics; geomorphology; age and correlation of the rocks. References and subject index at rear.
