Single sheet of gray flecked paper printed in blue on recto only illustrated in color in yellow and blue, depicting a phalanx of five policemen in riot gear gripping weapons to their chest. Few faint creases at extremities, with a short tear in top margi…n printed on thin stock paper; else a near fine nicely designed and illustrated. A dramatic pictorial broadside; unrecorded by *OCLC*. The novel, *Lay My Body on the Line,* was published in 1978 in Berkeley by Y'Bird, a fictional account of the 1960's uprising and student strike at San Francisco State University. Floyd Salas, Latino novelist and boxer, taught a creative writing class at San Francisco State in 1968, which is the basis for this novel. The broadside prints brief blurbs by Al Young, Josephine Miles, the *Bay Guardian*, and the *Berkeley Barb*.
