Pageblock tanned and lightly foxed, this leading onto pastedowns and endpapers. Green cloth boards are in fine condition, with gilt book details to spine and pageblock head dyed a complementary hue. Within, pages are tightly bound and content unmarked. Superbly illustrated by A Reginald Smith with twelve coloured plates and seventy-four b&w drawings set within the text.
