Mullins has also inscribed this copy on the front free endpaper: "For Burr - from Helene." Almost certainly the artist Burr Singer. The provenence of this book is that it came from the inventory of a long-since closed Black Memorabilia store in Pasadena, CA that was passed on to the owner's nephew.There were many original paintings of Burr's that were in the inventory.
