    G. Rychkov, L. Stenberg (illustrator). Original vintage movie poster for an epic Soviet historical drama about the Cossack hero leader Stepan Razin (Stepan Timofeyevich Razin; 1630-1671) who led the 1670-1671 uprising against the Tsarist oppressors, directed by Ivan Pravov and Olga Preobrazhenskaya and starring Andrei Abrikosov, Vladimir Gardin and Elena Kondrateva. Dynamic image of the bearded Stepan Razin in a traditional Cossack hat with a dagger and gun on his belt, standing with his arms on his hips in the foreground with people looking up at him and sailing ships at sea in the background, the decorative title text above against the cloudy sky. Good condition, restored tears, pinholes and minor loss on margins, backed on linen. Size: 90x61cm.
